A favorite treat for koala bears, Eucalyptus is an evergreen tree native to Australia. It has more than 700 species and is one of the world’s tallest trees. Aborigines have been known to use the leaves to help them catch fish and many other use it as an insect repellent.

The leaves can also be used to make a tea that then can be used as a mouthwash. Or it can even be used as a dye to create shades of green, brown and orange.
